Many people had crushes on her in the 1980s, but look at her now.

Linda Kozlowski’s role in “Crocodile Dundee” earned her international fame. Co-starring opposite Paul Hogan, the picture was a watershed moment in her career. However, following the “Dundee” series and a few additional performances, Kozlowski gradually faded from the Hollywood spotlight.

Linda Kozlowski, born on January 7, 1958, in Fairfield, Connecticut, pursued her acting ambition by enrolling in the Juilliard School’s famous theater school. After finishing her degree in 1981, she debuted in a number of off-Broadway shows. She eventually moved on to lesser parts on Broadway and television, notably the television film “Death of a Salesman,” in which she costarred with Dustin Hoffman.

Linda’s path to prominence was not without hurdles. She relocated to California after working as a waitress following her appearance in “Death of a Salesman.” During this period, Dustin Hoffman, her mentor, and his wife invited her to stay at their Malibu beach house. Linda went for an audition that would change her life forever.

Dustin Hoffman suggested Linda for the role of Sue Charlton in “Crocodile Dundee,” for which she successfully auditioned. The film’s success was phenomenal, generating almost $320 million on a $10 million budget, making Linda Kozlowski a star virtually overnight. Interestingly, her popularity grew more quickly in Australia due to the film’s early release.

Despite her newfound celebrity, Linda felt she did not receive the attention she deserved in Hollywood. She proceeded to appear in the “Crocodile Dundee” sequels, but declined several offers for jobs that stereotyped her as the girlfriend of a humorous actor. Linda chose to leave acting completely after the third “Dundee” film.

Linda Kozlowski fell in love with her co-star Paul Hogan while filming the “Crocodile Dundee” series. They married in 1990 and welcomed a son called Chance in 1998. However, their marriage dissolved in 2014.

Linda Kozlowski decided to live her life on her own terms when she divorced Paul Hogan. She obtained a hefty payout and chose to change her emphasis. Her interest shifted to Morocco, where she met Moulay Hafid Baba, a local tour guide. Their bond was instant, prompting a profound life transformation.

Linda and Moulay Hafid Baba launched Dream My Destiny, a premium travel firm in Marrakech. They design custom travel itineraries based on their clients’ interests. Linda’s life had shifted from Hollywood to the stunning vistas of Morocco.

Linda Kozlowski may have left the acting industry, but her memory as Sue Charlton in “Crocodile Dundee” lingers on. At 63 years old, she has decided to live an exciting and happy life in Morocco. She finds real life more fulfilling than fiction, particularly in the tourism sector, where her intuition, acquired throughout her acting career, is critical in creating unforgettable experiences for others.
